IFFK seems zestful: Hossein Shahabi

“IFFK is one of the distinctive festivals I have ever been to. It is a very promising festival and I am still experiencing it,” said Hossein Shahabi, the Iranian Director. He was speaking in the press conference conducted in connection with IFFK 19th edition. It got a good collection of movies and I want to watch more and more movies. I am eagerly looking forward to enjoy the festival to its core. The less encouragement for certain kind of music genres in Iran made him to go on with making films, he added.
Raj Amit Kumar, Director of the film Blemished Light and Prakash Bare, the lead actor in the movie Oraal Pokkam, who attended the conference also has praise for the IFFK. This wonderful responsive mob is really astonishing, said Amit Kumar by confessing about the censorship crisis he had undergone through. The censorship was pretty fine in America but was not that much smooth in India. Indian films are losing its freedom of expression because of this censorship issues he said. Prakash Bare conversed about the mishaps they faced while shooting the film in Himalayas. Hard work brings out good movies; the script should come first not the actors, said Bare.
The invisible line of relation between time, space and mind state is being portrayed through the film Eighty Nine, said its Director Manoj Michigan. The editing of the movie was done with most modern techniques, he added. Sankalp Bhowmick the editor of the movie and Indu Shrikent the Director (Programs) IFFK were also present.
